Our team is proud to support the Robert H. Levine Foundation for Lewy Body Research and its mission: to raise awareness through education and outreach and to invest in research to recognize and treat Lewy Body Dementia.  Join us on Saturday, October 29th, at the Glen Club, for the inaugural fundraising event: a fabulous fashion show and lunch with a guest speaker Dr. Darren Gitelman, the senior medical director of the Advocate Health Care Memory Center.

Together we hope to help researchers unlock the mysteries of this disease and raise awareness of this second most common form of dementia.  

Although Lewy Body dementias affect an estimated 1.4 million people in the US, many individuals, including medical professionals, are unaware of the symptoms, diagnostic criteria, or even that LBD exists.

LBD is the second most common form of degenerative dementia, yet it remains the most misdiagnosed. There are currently no medications approved for the treatment of LBD.
